The Ultimate Yoga Rejuvecation is located in the heart of world famous yoga and surf destination, Nosara, Costa Rica. Designed for all levels of yoga enthusiasts, the getaway includes two yoga classes per day created according to the experience and interests of your group’s different styles and levels. The 6-day, 7-night excursion is limited to 16 participants to insure personal and intimate classes and instruction. Sessions are guided by two world-class teachers in an open-air mountaintop rancho/studio perched 400 ft. above the waves of Playa Guiones.

Morning yoga is a unique and invigorating blend of Vinyasa Flow, incorporating mindful alignment instruction, breath work, and Qigong techniques to refresh and awaken the mind and body in preparation for the day ahead. This technique is sometimes simply called Flow, because of the smooth way that poses run together, much like a dance. Qigong is self-initiated movement meditation putting the body into the relaxation/regeneration state.

Afternoon yoga is a therapeutic combination of Yin techniques to restore the body and soothe the nervous system after a full day of activity. Yin targets the connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, and the joints of the body that normally are not exercised in more active styles of asana practice. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles that emphasize internal heat and the lengthening and contracting of muscles; it can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. Instructors Kevin and Dana Courtney teach at the Kula Yoga Project in New York City and Brooklyn; they co-teach workshops and retreats together around the world.
Tierra Magnifica boasts facilities, rooms, grounds, and staff dedicated entirely insure privacy and personalized attention. Custom menus feature fresh fruits, herbs, vegetables, (some grown in their own organic garden), and meats/fish locally grown/caught off the shore. Eco-tours, surfing and spa services are available, as are lots of private, personal journey places to discover, such as the private nature trail and waterfall with swimming hole. Program details at:
