St Croix Food and Wine Experience
The St. Croix Food & Wine Experience, held each April in St. Croix, has been named one of the Ten Best International Food and Wine Festivals by Forbes Travel - and for good reason!
Local chefs, celebrity chefs, cooking show personalities and top winemakers from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the continenal US, and abroad support this prestigious series of events. This years festival will be held from April 7 - 10, 2017 on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
(BONUS: You can soak up the sun in the Caribbean without a passport!)
2016's event featured chefs Sam Choy of Hawaii, Robyn Almodovar (winner of Food Nework's CHOPPED), and Digby Stridiron of St. Croix. . The 2016 lineup hasn't been announced as of this writing, but you can check at http://stxfoodandwine.com/ at a later date.
The chefs will offer cooking classes, while the festival also offers wine dinners and competitions.
The St. Croix Food & Wine Experience started in 2001 when two restaurant owners, Kelly Odom and Katherine Pugliese founded A Taste of St. Croix. The events of the week raise funds local community programs.
