Egypt- Travel into the desert from Hurghada to a traditional Bedouin village. You will learn about the Bedouin way of life before enjoying a Bedouin BBQ Dinner in the Desert. This full day excursion is a tasting experience and does not include cooking.For a full day of adventure, try the Jeep Safari, Snorkeling, Camel Ride and Bedouin Lunch. You'll take a jeep into the desert, snorkel the Blue Hole, and shop in Dahab, in addition to the Bedouin lunch. If you're short on time, this is a great introduction to the culture!
Morocco- The Rhodes School of Cuisine offers a week-long cooking vacation at Dar Liqama, outside of Marrakech. You'll stay at a luxury villa and learn the art of traditional Moroccan cuisine. This is one of the few hands-on, participatory experiences offered in this region. There will be plenty of time for additional excursions, and non-participating guests are welcome!For an entertaining evening with a Moroccan dinner, the Moroccan Dinner and Folklore Show in Marrakech is a traditional dinner with belly dancers and performers on horseback.
