My hometown is Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Doesn't sound like a vacation destination, does it?

But it's a great place for a weekend vacation getaway. Whether you like baseball or opera, beaches, art, architecture, good food, festivals - LOTS of festivals!! - or just a good state fair, Milwaukee has it all!

And I'll bet your hometown has a lot to offer, too!

I tend to head to beaches for my "real" vacation, and I'd love to see more of Europe and Asia, too. But I also like to get away for a weekend, and a city vacation is perfect for that.

Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and New Orleans are some of my favorites - but I know them only as a tourist. I'd love to hear from some locals, with their perspectives and ideas for great places to stay, eat, and see!
